How We Support First Responders

💙 Monthly Training – We host monthly training classes to help first responders and family members to learn crucial skills while also supporting them with meals during the training and childcare:

✔ Love Languages classes

✔ Personalities in relationships and at work classes

✔ Personal Finance classes- Budgeting, Spending, Debt, and goal setting.
✔ Resilience in Law Enforcement

✔ Critical Incident Preparation Classes- learning from other law enforcement officers and their spouses or parents who supported them through a line-of-duty injury, officer involved shooting, or another traumatic critical incident.

💙 Family Academy – We host bi-weekly training classes to help new first responders and family members to learn crucial skills while also supporting them with meals during the training and childcare:

In 2024, we supported 140 family members through this crucial Family Academy training from 7 local law enforcement agencies. 

Coming in 2025, we will be providing this training not only to new law enforcement families but to the DCSO agency as a whole to provide this much needed training to Dispatch, Detentions, CSI, and civilians in the Douglas County Sheriff's Office and neighboring agencies.
